Promising Scholars is MNPS’ full-day, free, fun, and academically enriching summer program that gives students hands-on learning, exciting activities, and a great head start for the new school year. Many families use this as a summer childcare option. It takes place May 28-June 26 at various schools throughout the district. Sylvan Park is NOT hosting this year, but Eakin Elementary and Cockrill Elementary are nearby options. Deadline to register is May 5. Click here for more information and to register.
Join us for a Popsicle Party for Incoming Kindergartners on May 17, from 4p-5p, on the Sylvan Park playground! Come meet other families who will be attending Sylvan Park next year, meet members of your PTO, ask your questions, and hear all about our wonderful school!
