Please bring in food donation items for the month of November and place them in our Second Harvest Food Bank boxes at the front of school. We will be doing this until Thanksgiving break, so please help if you can! See most needed items & guidelines below.
We are also accepting donations of $20 gift cards to Kroger or Walmart to distribute to families in our community. Please deliver gift cards to the front office.
We’d also like to remind you that if your family is in need of food assistance or would like to up your food bags to twice weekly, please click here or reach out to Meredith Middlebrooks at Meredith.Middlebrooks@mnps.org. All information will be sent directly to her and remain anonymous to everyone else. We know there are changes coming for November, and many community members will be affected. We are here to help! Mobile food pantry distribution information for the area is also listed at the bottom of this page.
**Remember breakfast and lunch are served daily at Sylvan Park for free to all students.**

- Meat sticks/cans of meat
- Canned fruit/fruit cups
- Canned vegetables
- Breakfast bars/cereal
- Oatmeal
- Packaged snacks for kids
- Instant rice
- Beans
- Pasta
- Pasta sauce
Non-perishable items only: Don’t donate items that need refrigeration.
Prefer non-glass containers: This helps with safety and handling.
Focus on nutrition: Donations should be low in sodium and sugar.
No home-prepared foods: Do not donate perishable food that has been prepared in a home kitchen.
